Damndest Things I've Ever Seen

1. A cattle trailer on it's side with live cows being herded out over the dead cows. Were they sad? What's going to happen to all of that fresh meat?
2. A guy dancing in front of the library on a college campus to tunes he played from his portable DVD player, oblivious to the fact that a crowd had formed around him. It wasn't because he was good.
3. Random Gas Station Parking Lot. Just sitting in the lot was a man's dress shoe. It was pretty beat up, but also seemed to have some character to it. I looked around for the other shoe, but it was not to be found. I don't know why, but that one shoe, sitting there alone, has been stuck in my head for several days now.

Things That Don't Make Sense to Me

1. Why do we park on driveways, and drive on parkways (tribute to the late, great George Carlin).
2. Why anyone actually voted for George W. Bush and thought it was a good idea.
3. People who say, 'I could care less.'
4. Who decided that donuts needed holes in them? Shouldn't we get the donut 'holes' for free, since they were part of the original product?
5. If everything was created, and a god created everything ... who created god?
6. How did the first person to fish for Snow or King Crabs know that they were down there, how to catch them, and that they were edible?
7. Fancy Ketchup (Catsup)
8. Why does Goofy talk, drive and live in a house, while Pluto barks, does dog things and lives in a doghouse? They're both dogs.
9. Why don't we work two days a week, and then take off for five. We'd be more productive.
